Today, Pastor Terry walks us through John’s first letter in the New Testament. Pastor Terry explains that John’s introduction actually refutes some of the common heresies of his day: on one hand, there were those who claimed that Jesus was not fully human, but rather a sort of phantom that only looked human. On the other hand, some did not believe that Jesus was fully God. These heresies are still present today, so it is important to heed the words of John – who walked with Jesus in the flesh.
