Clearly, the world hated Jesus. So much so, it put him to death. People rejected his miracles, his teaching and his relationship to God the Father. And, as Pastor Terry explains today, Jesus knew that if you believed in him, you too would be hated. So, Jesus prayed for everyone who was or would be a believer. He prayed that God would be with and strengthen you as a believer as he himself had been strengthened. And he prayed that he would help you be successful in living your life for God in this difficult world.
