What comes to mind when you think of the word servant? Right now, you’re probably thinking of someone who lives with a rich owner, to help out around the house or with the kids. But in the Bible, Jesus uses the metaphor in the book of John for someone who gives himself up to another person’s will. And that’s how you and I should be. Some of the most powerful words in the Bible are “Let Your Will be done!” So today, Pastor Terry reminds you that to be a disciple of Christ, you must give yourself up to the will of God.
