Pastor Terry shared with us today that the goal of a minister (or anyone sharing the truth of God's Word) should be to connect people to God. They need to be committed to sharing the Word with others. There can be NO hidden agendas...and NO ulterior motives. A minister shouldn't be proud...seeking praise for the work he's doing. He must be set on leading others to the saving knowledge of Jesus...and giving God the glory for it all. Understand that the ministry isn't about US. We're simply tools in the hands of a loving and mighty God.
