When our candidate doesn't win the election, we can sometimes fall into despair. But is that the right response for the Christian in such circumstances? Today, Pastor Terry encourages us that no matter who is in office, God is still King of all and remains in control. We may pray and learn all we can about a candidate, support them in the race and ultimately end up facing defeat. It is then that we must continue to serve our God and trust in Him that He has allowed this defeat and will be glorified in it. But one day Jesus will reign and then we will see leadership in its truest and most righteous form.
