Doing good work is never a bad thing! It feels good to do good!
However, it’s important not to forget that it isn’t our good works that bring us salvation. Paul taught this to Titus. He told him to preach the grace of God, for the grace of God brings salvation. Pastor Terry reminds us today that it’s not “going to church” that saves us; it’s not “making donations” or “volunteering at church events”. It’s God’s grace that allows us to be saved. Without his grace, we would be hopeless.
