The Bible say's that sin leads to death. It may not seem like it at first, because the Bible also say's that sin is pleasurable, but for a season. If you plant bad seeds, you're going to reap bad fruit in your life. David's sin of adultery did indeed lead to death, it lead to the death of Bathsheba's husband, and the death of the baby in Bathsheba's womb. When you're tempted to sin, think through what the repercussions could be.
