Spending time with God should never be about fulfilling an obligation or meeting a quota. Quality over quantity, as they say. The more time the better, but 5 minutes of authentic heartfelt prayer will be much more effective than an hour of heartless recitation. As Pastor Terry explains in today’s message, we may be able to fool other people, but big words don’t impress God. He desires for us to be real; to be ourselves with Him. When we make ourselves vulnerable in those moments alone with Him, He will meet us in our weakness and fill us with His divine power.
