The Enemy hates Truth and will stop at nothing to destroy it. We see this exemplified not only in Jesus' crucifixion, but also in the martyrdom of Stephen. In Stephen, we see a person like you and me—a follower of Christ and someone who's unafraid of being liked or well received. Instead, he spoke the Truth. And, as Pastor Terry teaches in today's message, though Stephen died violently at the hands of those who were threatened by the Word of God, he was blessed with God's peace. And His martyrdom helped spread the Light of Christ throughout the world.
