No amount of good works are enough to buy our way into Heaven! The Bible teaches that the debt of sin that each of us has is not something we can pay back, not even if our generosity ends world hunger, or eradicates cancer. The only way we can hope to reach Heaven after we die is to put our hope in Jesus. Pastor Terry reminds us today that we are all sinners who owe a tremendous debt, but that debt has been paid in full by the blood of Jesus! It is His mercy that allows us to be in God’s presence.
