The pleasures of this life always entice us to use them to try make our lives more satisfying. However, once we have become involved with them for a while, we eventually come up empty, and often ashamed. But in today's study, Pastor Terry reminds us that Jesus Christ is as alive today as you and I are. Because He lives, He is able to give us many blessings, including a deep abiding peace that cannot be shaken. Our life may be filled with difficulties, but our Savior lives and will see us through them. The pleasures that He offers last far longer than an hour and they do not end in emptiness or shame.
