Jesus’ teachings sometimes get overshadowed by His miracles. His supernatural acts certainly deserve our attention and praise, but His Words are what truly brought life. Physical signs and wonders were only temporary. Even Lazarus eventually died again. But, as Pastor Terry explains in today’s message, the Words of Jesus bring us spiritual life that lasts through eternity. His Gospel should always take precedence over meeting temporary needs, such as feeding the hungry or healing the sick. Those things are mainly tools for pointing people towards our Savior.
