All Christians will face chastening by God. God’s chastening includes discipline, instruction and training. Though painful and difficult, the chastening of God will yield good things. Today, Pastor Terry will remind you that the correction, discipline and training of God is always perfect, right and good. It is never random and always has a purpose. Suffering and trials are hard to endure in the moment, but you must remember God is using these difficulties to mature you. It is important to accept, submit to and appreciate God’s correction. Don’t give up and get angry at God. Just as a loving parent chastens a child, so God chastens you because he loves you and wants you to grow.
