Are we a generation of quitters? As Pastor Terry shares in his message, it’s becoming far more commonplace to quit than to persevere in our culture. In the gospel of Luke, Jesus shares that we must be careful to look forward toward accomplishing our goals if we are to enter into the kingdom of heaven. This takes a spirit of hard work and discipline. In a culture of instant gratification, it can be especially difficult to work through tasks that take time and effort to be fruitful. Such dedication will be rewarded, however and is of great value in the heavenly realm.
