We can go through life passively and just take what comes. We may even pick up some bits of wisdom here and there as we meander through life. Today, Pastor Terry exhorts us to take a more active path where wisdom and knowledge are concerned. He shows us from scripture that we are not only to treasure wisdom and respect it, but that we are in fact to pursue it - aggressively! God places a high value on wisdom and expects us to as well. Even as we live in a society that often mocks wisdom and even exalts foolishness, we are to be a people set apart. People who acquire and apply the wisdom of God.
