The apostle Paul encourages his audience to treat the nation of Israel as a people that need the life-saving gift of Jesus! God hasn't given up on them and He will keep His promises to the Jews. Rejection after rejection, though, eventually led to blindness for the Israel nation. Pastor Terry explains this today as judicial blindness which won't be removed for the Jews until the end of the Church Age. Paul was heavy-hearted for his homeland. He was just like them before he came to know Christ.
