In this portion of the Book of Joshua, we have been studying what God considers the responsibility of a nation towards its people. One of the responsibilities is to support the clergy. The Pastor is the spiritual shepherd of the flock and his needs should not only be provided for by the nation, but also the Church fellowship. Our nation offers tax incentives to ease the financial burden of the ministry. However, every single Christian has the responsibility to support the work of the Lord. Just as the Levite Priests’ were provided for in the former days, our current Pastors need your support.
