God created mankind with the ability to either choose to love and follow Him, or to reject Him. You have been given free will because that's the only way you can truly love. Only having a choice can show genuine love. This is why Adam and Even were given a choice in the Garden. As Pastor Terry continues his teaching series through the book of Job, he'll be explaining how God didn't create robots that were programmed to automatically love Him. Being programmed and forced to have love, isn't really love at all.
