Pastor Terry is going to bring us to the trial of Jesus today, and by all accounts, it was a mock trial. It didn't follow any of the laws of the day and yet this illegal proceeding was used to condemn and crucify Christ. When we follow him we need to expect that the world will not treat us fairly, but in the sermon on the mount, Jesus said that that unfair treatment makes us blessed. It sure doesn't feel like it, and sometimes all we can do is cry out to Jesus with our pain, but in the end, that's all we need to do.
