God has a clear and perfect plan for the redemption of His Creation. The Jewish people of Jesus’ day had hoped for a political Messiah. They hoped to see their Roman oppressors uprooted and driven from their land. They didn’t understand that they were under an even greater oppression that would lead to their eternal judgement and suffering. As Pastor Terry points out in today’s message, the salvation that Jesus has provided is greater than any political movement. It crosses the boundaries set by man and brings freedom and life that is eternal.
