Have you seen someone use flattery and false praise to get on someone's good side? It's easy and even natural to only speak well of those in authority over you while you are with them. But sometimes that praise is only to get something from them. As Pastor Terry teaches today, you can see that Daniel is a great example of how we should interact with those over us. Daniel wasn't looking for an earthly reward from King Nebuchadnezzar, so he was free to speak the truth to him with no ulterior motives.
