Traditions and rituals aren’t always bad, but all too often we give them more weight than they deserve. We’re told in Acts that the only requirement for salvation is to believe in Jesus. That’s it. It doesn’t say “and follow these steps…” or “Don’t do these things.” As Pastor Terry will point out in today’s message, the modern Church struggles just as much with worshiping religion as the Pharisees did in Jesus’ day. If you’re following the Law in an effort to earn your place in God’s Kingdom, you will fall short.
