We live in a consumer-driven society. We know what it is to put our money in a vending machine and expect to receive our “reward,” but God isn’t a transactional God. Living in faith with Him is about a relationship. Pastor Terry will urge you today to serve God, not because you want to get something back for it. There’s nothing you can ever do to earn the love of God. He’s already done everything through Jesus. Let your service and worship of God be out of gratitude for what He’s done for you.
