The Lord Jesus Christ is our great High Priest. Scripture says that He continually prays for His bride. Even at this very moment we know that the Lord is interceding for the church. This fact should bring us great comfort and joy. In today’s message from John 17, Pastor Terry unpacks Jesus’s final prayer for the church just before He was arrested and crucified. Amazingly, the Lord prayed for our eternal protection. We know that the Father heard and hears Christ’s prayers, and as such, we have confidence that our fate is secure in Him Who gave Himself up for us.
