It’s always nice to be able to talk to a human when you have troubles. Being able to look someone else in the eyes, to give you a hug when needed, brings much comfort. The Jews had a system of priests to offer sacrifices for sin for the people. As Pastor Terry will be teaching, the Book of Hebrews will tell you that merely having a human priest and yearly sin offerings isn’t enough to permanently wipe out your sins; it took a priest and a sin offering powerful enough to eradicate your sins for all time. Both of those were fulfilled in the man, Jesus, and you’ll be hearing more about that.
