Christians are called to take up their cross, which means following in Jesus’ footsteps and obeying His teaching. Be prepared, you may face persecution for living as Jesus desires. No matter what we face, we must be willing to forsake all things and to give up that which we hold most dear in order to serve Jesus. All that we sacrifice for Jesus in this life doesn’t compare with the glory of the life eternal that is a reward for those who believe in Jesus and serve Him.
