“Pride comes before a fall” is a saying we are all familiar with. But it's more than just a saying, it is a truth that we ignore at our own peril. Today Pastor Terry shows us from the book of Proverbs just how dangerous and devastating the sin of pride can be. It is a deceptive sin that we often overlook in ourselves, but we never seem to have any trouble recognizing it in others. It can blind us to our own weaknesses and make us incredibly obnoxious. Worst of all, it can keep us from God's plan for our life. We will also see that as much as pride should be avoided, humility should be pursued.
