Besides living in a tent, Abram set up many altars. As he constructed these altars, he was a witness to the pagan people around him that he worshiped another God. One of the ways we make a statement about our faith is to put up an altar through our witness. People around us need to see that the life we live is consecrated for His use. As Pastor Terry recounts Abram’s story, we can learn so much from the way Abram worshiped God. Just like Abram, the altars we make are important because they proclaim that we live for JESUS the One true living God.
