Lot’s decision to live a worldly life cost him and his family their freedom. The dangers of living a worldly life will cost us the same. As Pastor Terry makes clear in today’s message, making compromises with the world will move us out of God’s safety zone and into unnessesary danger. We were not called to live a worldly life, but are led to live a godly life in the midst of a lost and dying world. The choices we make to live like the world will only produce suffering. When Christians compromise with sin, it puts themselves and everyone around them in pain and unavoidable danger.
