Today Pastor Terry wants to caution you against turning your faith and relationship with Christ, into a contract with Him. It can be all too easy to begin settling into a mindset of wanting God to bless you, but not wanting to make any efforts at blessing Him at all. You begin praying for your own desires, and perhaps even making promises if those desires are fulfilled. “Lord, if I read the bible every day, then I need this from you…” – But that’s not how it works. If this is you, consider tearing up that contract, and see how you can bless God, starting today.
