Baptism is a physical symbol of a spiritual event and process that your heart undergoes when you trust in Jesus as your Savior. You have to acknowledge that your soul is dirtied by the sin you were born into and chose to give yourself to. As Pastor Terry will explain in today’s message, when you acknowledge that need for redemption and restoration and realize there’s no way you can do it for yourself, Jesus spiritually cleanses your soul in the same way the water of baptism rinses the body.
