There are many lessons we can learn from the story of Babel, not only does it explain how different cultures and languages came to be, but it is also a lesson in humility, a reminder to remain dependent upon God. When we choose to lean on our own understanding, we act as if we are wiser and better than God, this can be detrimental. In today’s message with Pastor Terry, we are reminded to trust in God and fully give our lives over to Him. Our brokenness is covered by Jesus, He paid the ultimate price so we can be with Him in eternity.
