Life is completely unpredictable. All of us experience this, whether it’s just an inconvenient detour on the drive to work, a life-altering accident, or a world-changing virus, so much is out of our control. As Pastor Terry will remind us in today’s message, for the people who woke up on September 11, 2001, they couldn’t imagine the way their world would change. This volatility should be an ever-present reminder that we can’t put our faith in ourselves, but only in God.
