JESUS is the perfect example of humility. The extreme way He demonstrated, by His own choosing, the way we ought to live cannot be matched by any other. JESUS life proved that the way UP is DOWN in the eyes of God. As Pastor Terry describes the many ways JESUS made Himself of no reputation and lived a servant’s life for other people, we can benefit from His example. If we lift ourselves up, we’ll be humiliated. But if we humble ourselves before God and in the presence of people with whom we serve, He will lift us up and advance us in the Kingdom of God.
