It’s easy to think that we are good people when we compare ourselves to other people! We think, “Well I haven’t done THAT so I guess I’m doing all right!” That may be a good way to boost your pride, but that is not how we measure our relationship with God. With God, we must measure up to the standard of PERFECTION. Try as we may, we never can live up to that, but God had a plan. He sent down his son, Jesus, to be perfect for us. We don’t have to strive, we just have to put our trust in him!
