Psalm 61: 2 Timothy 1
We all try to be omnipresent; we are often using our technology to convince ourselves and our loved ones that we can be in all of the places with all of the people, all at once! But we really, really can't. In fact, it seems that the more we try to be omnipresent, the less present we actually are; we walk around like empty husks of men and women, brains sucked out by handheld devices and attentions spread way too thin. God's omnipresence is manifest in us as longing; we can never really be everywhere, but we can trust our hearts to the One who is.
