- Keeping fit by running.
- Entering races with friends like 5k,10k and half Marathons.
- Taking the plunge into a full Marathon.
- Fear of failing.
- Doubters and naysayers ie. Work colleagues, Friends,Family & Acquantances.
- Training or lack of, danger!
- Big day experience, crowds and support.
- Doing it for charity, to raise money for important causes.
- Losing the fear.
- I'll be back! only in a rerun.
