In this conversation, Maura discussed how vulnerability and confidence can co-exist and how they are both important to success. She reinforced that even confident people can have doubts and fears and it is okay to show those emotions.
Maura also talked about how "fake it til you make it" does not mean pretending to be something you're not, but rather summoning the confidence inside you that is sometimes buried beneath voices, egos, and other people's opinions. She shared her own experience of taking two years to begin Super Real Human podcast as an example of how she knew the potential was inside her, but needed to clear the blocks of worrying about other people's opinions.
In the end, it is about having the courage to do what you know is inside you and not letting other people's opinions take away from your potential.
