Description

Claude McKnight was born into a very musical family in NYC. The family moved to Buffalo where Claude started his musical journey, first in his grandfather's church choir and then in school learning to play the trombone. This early training along with the eclectic albums that his parents had in the home helped shape and strengthen his ear towards a love for jazz, big band and A Capella music. High school and college furthered the quest for singing in small groups, specifically with his 3 brothers first and then in college starting his own quartet. This college quartet would be the platform for what would become the Grammy award winning vocal sextet, Take 6.

Claude also coaches vocalists all over the world, with his “Building Blocks of the Song Stylist” online classes, and is a budding filmmaker as well.
