One of THE WORST threats that a parent can make to their child is telling then that if they don't behave, then the parent will call the police on them.
Despite this, it seems to be something that I can't help but overhear. Whether I'm out at the market or even around my own family. We should not threaten kids with cops.
There are so many dangers with this, including creating a negative stigma for children when it comes to the police who are there to protect and serve them.
