this episode is dedicated to the memory of tai's brother ben.
now although i had met tai a few times over the years (as his wife and Angela were friends) it was not until a few weeks prior to recording this podcast that we said more than a casual 'hello' to each other. it was during that conversation that tai told me of ben's life.
his life reminiscent of a hollywood redemption story, but with a tragic end, and how the family chose to deal with aftermath. i am incredibly grateful to tai for being so open and willing to share ben's story with us. a story that is an incredible reminder that we never truly know the battles others face.
