I find it consistently astonishing how entirely foreseeable these films are. This holiday season, we have Meet Me Next Christmas and Hot Frosty, both of which are incredibly clichéd yet strangely enjoyable in their own right. The Merry Gentlemen lives up to expectations, leading us through the antics of shirtless men attempting to rescue a rural performance space. With Murray portraying a rugged handyman who inexplicably refers to Ashley as “city girl,” it’s clear that you’re in for an entertaining experience once more.
