Irish Wish seems like the ideal romantic comedy film on paper; it has everything needed to be successful, at least in this particular genre. The movie contains all the elements of a normal romantic comedy, including the typical road of self-discovery, the classic rom-com tropes you either love or despise and the intriguing small-town Irish location. The ingredients for a great movie are undoubtedly there, but once the movie starts, the execution is nowhere near as good or satisfying, leaving the audience with a forgettable and unsatisfying final product.
