I felt extremely satisfied after watching the Tarot movie as it showcased horror maturely and legitimately. The cinematography is exceptional, with moments of subtle artistic brilliance. For instance, a short scene with the evening star shining in the sky at dusk displayed a unique artistic sensitivity. The main characters were surprisingly likable, a refreshing change from the usual horror films where we root for their demise. Their likability made the evil characters stand out even more, as the palpable, unthinking, and insane nature of evil was portrayed effectively. Additionally, the cleverly woven backstory added an interesting layer to the storyline.
