"Mufasa: The Lion King" is a film that functions as both a prequel and a sequel to "The Lion King" (2019). The script primarily focuses on being a prequel, detailing the life of Mufasa and his allies, including Scar's origins. The story has some strong moments and some that are relatively weak on screen, but overall it is a good but unoriginal story. Most of the scenes in the computer animation have nearly lifelike cinematography, both in the characters and the surroundings. A lot of the fauna appears natural.
