Hugo Hakk, machine gun trainer/officer in the Czar's Army is on leave from the Eastern Front in WWI and finds himself in Petrograd just as the February Revolution is breaking out in 1917. After a side trip to Finland, he's back in Petrograd on International Women's Day.
