Joseph La Flesche was a Native American chief in the 1800s who saw change on the horizon for his people. Equipped with a faith in God and a belief that He could lead them into a new age, Joseph navigated and created a ”New Normal” for his people, paving the way for them to have a new future where they could thrive, even as change raged around them.
