Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is a series of prayers for our sons. Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you, and we give you glory and praise. We thank you for your presence in our lives. We thank you, God, that we are saved today. And it's by your grace and your mercy that we live. We thank you for being our God. Thank you for being faithful and good and pleasant.
Thank you for being patient with us. We give you glory. We give you praise. And God as we pray for our sons. As we pray for the sons all over the world. We pray in the name of Jesus first for their protection. We pray that you would protect our sons, in the name of Jesus. That you would keep them from the hands of evil men and women.
And God, we pray that our sons would be mighty men of valor. They will be strong as Joshua and Caleb were. They would see themselves being able to conquer whatever God has placed before them. We pray that they would have the strength of the sons of Isakahr. For they will know the times and they will know what must be done. We pray for a spirit of discernment that they will know the seasons in their lives and they would move and act according to a plan to move in your direction. Now God bless our sons. May they find the strength of Sampson? May they find the courage of a David. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
