Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is a prayer for our son in the series, Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and honor and praise. And we thank you, God, that we are children of the highest God. You call us your sons and your daughters.
And as we continue our prayer for sons; father in the name of Jesus. I asked that you would give our sons wisdom and that they would know how to make great decisions. They will know how to consult you in everything. In the name of Jesus. They will seek wise counsel from Elders. And they would have a desire and a hunger for your counsel in every part of their lives. And I thank you, God, that they are not after intellect but they are after the wisdom of God. To make the best decisions for their lives. For their homes and many times for their children. In Jesus' name.
So I pray for our sons that you would give them the tenacity of Paul. Glory, be to God. To command excellence in the service of God. They will be men, glory be to God, that will commit their lives to you, in Jesus' name. I thank you that as you turn Paul's life around that you would transform the lives and the hearts of our sons and that they would be men that are committed to you above all else.
And then men that are committed to their relationships. I pray for your protection. I pray your blessings upon our sons, in Jesus' name. Amen.
