Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is part two of a special Easter prayer on resurrection, Romans eight, 10 through 11. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. When the spirit of him that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you honor. We give you praise. That we are alive today because of your spirit that's in us. We thank you, God, in the name of Jesus that our lives have been transformed and renewed by the spirit of God. And we no longer live. By the fleshly desires. But God, we allow the spirit of God to make us new, to quick and repair, restore us in all the areas of our lives.
And we give you glory. We give you praise. That we are a new man-creature in you. All things, all ways of thinking have passed away. And behold, all things become new in you. Thank you for resurrection power. That lives on the inside of us. Thank you God that we have hope in a risen savior this morning in Jesus' name.
Thank you, God, that we have the eternal life that as you live forever, our spirits will live forever, with you. And for that, we give you glory for that blessed promise of God. For that blessed peace that we have. We give you glory. We give you praise for it. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
